5. Once the payment has been done, place your Nol card on the NFC sensor again
6. Your card will be activated immediately

To get a one-day pass for the Dubai Metro, also called the Nol Red Ticket, you can follow these means:

1. Find a ticket vending machine(TVM) at any Dubai Metro station
2. Explore through the choices on the machine’s screen and pick the “1-Day Pass” choice
3. Make the payment (AED 20 for Regular, AED 40 for Gold)
4. Whenever an installment is made, the machine will give you a Red Ticket, which will act as your one-day pass for limitless travel inside the predefined zones on the Dubai Metro
